CNN iReport just launched a new partnership with Gowalla, a location-based app. Now, users can highlight a location with a CNN iReport mark and it will land under the Gowalla account on CNN iReport.

 

We're already starting to see Gowalla users highlighting some cool places, so we'd like to try something new and see what places around the world we can discover together.

 

If you're a Gowalla user, find a cool spot and mark it with a CNN iReport highlight to bring it to our attention. If you add a photo to your check-in, all the better. Your placemark will become an iReport here.

 

Or, if you're not a Gowalla user, simply upload a photo or video from the interesting place and tell us specifically where it is; bonus points for cross streets and GPS coordinates.

 

Some iReports you see here may look a little different than other iReports; these are placemarks with data about the location the Gowalla users visited. Let's try this out and see what cool things we can find.
